Director BIO: Vyacheslav Bigdan (DRILL)

Vyacheslav (Slava) Bigdan is a filmmaker based in Kyiv, Ukraine. He studied directing at Ukrainian Film School from 2019 to 2021 while still working as a sales manager for software companies and startups. One of his student shorts, a sci-fi drama, Alienation, was selected and screened at KINOKO film festival in 2020. Slava grew up in a small town in Poltava oblast and has a degree in agriculture. He’s been hooked on the idea of making films back in 2017 while living in Kharkiv and attending acting classes at local theater and participating in stage performances. Slava gets his ideas and inspiration from his vast background and from observing everyday life. His dream is to direct a corporate satire feature and he is currently building his body of work as a writer and director.
