Director Statement

When invited to direct JOE, the answer was an immediate, ‘Yes!’. The opportunity to work on an intelligent romantic comedy, with a kick ass team of women: the hilarious powerhouse writer Shara Ashley Zeiger, the technical genius of pocket rocket cinematographer Samantha Pyra, and the electric joy of production coordinator/AD Samantha Winter. JOE is a reminder that what often makes us shine are our uniquely wonderful flaws. So, live your best life, never hide your quirks and enjoy JOE, and take that chance, you just never know. ~ Kaye Tuckerman
