Director BIO: Geoffrey Fighiera (A ROLL IN THE HAY)

Author Director born in Reims, France in 1980, Geoffrey Fighiera has been first and foremost, since childhood: a “storyteller”. After a career in finance, he becomes Author Director and he directs his first professional short film in 2017, “Corps Défendants”. He wins the Grand Prix at the Cognac Film festival the same year. He is particularly drawn to thrillers and engaging films whose seemingly realistic completely absorb us. His favorite ingredients are disenchantment, the absurdity of choice or even complex human relationships. In 2020, he directed his second short film, “Une partie en l’air”, and won the Grand Prix de Cognac for the second time.
